Slow Cats are an international Isle of Wight based rock and roll band mixing original material with covers of Tom Petty, Neil Young, Beatles, Stones and more. Formed under the shadow of the St Lawrence undercliff with its strange vegetations that grow wild and unheeded in a lawless land where roads collapse and guitars echo off cliff faces, Slow Cats ooze music from their pores [sic], from their garage band lair, from their slow cat cars prowling the furthest reaches of island byways in search of the next gig – in alleyways, bandstands, rock and roll back-room bars and wild festivals of cross cultural delight, but watch out – they bite.
